Institute of Town Planners, India
West Bengal Regional Chapter
WELCOME
Welcome to this web site of the West Bengal Regional Chapter of the Institute of Town Planners, India. The present world requires people in general and the professionals like the urban planners well connected and informed. Organizational information should be readily available to the members and others interested in its activities. On 26th November, 2019 the Executive Committee has unanimously decided to host its website to allow all the members of the regional chapter and others to look at the activities, notices, announcements, newsletters etc easily from their smart phones or laptops etc. It appeared that members are not being able to get the newsletters or program details in the case of changing their address temporarily or permanently and sometimes due to the failures of the postal or courier services. We have tried to bring a solution with this website of the chapter. This web site is supplementary to the web site hosted by the Head quarters of the ITPI from New Delhi. We shall try to improve this further obtaining the comments and observations of the members.
